As a constitutional conservative, Tony seeks to bring all Americans together under patriotism and conservative values. Our diverse communities have been misled about the values and priorities of the conservate party. He wants to work with community members to reinforce our commonalities and encourage them to vote for Pro-American initiatives and candidates.
POLITICAL EXPERIENCE
In 2023, Tony ran for FCPS School Board, Providence District. His campaign put him in contact with a diverse group of people who found commonality with his conservative values and concerns about our public schools. He understands the importance of continuing to engage with these residents to mitigate their stereotypes of Republicans.
LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Tony has decades of experience in the Security and Intelligence Industry from a long and distinguished career in the US Navy, US Secret Service, and Central Intelligence Agency. He began his career in 1996 as a US Navy Hospital Corpsmen serving with the United States Marine Corps. In 2002, he joined the United States Secret Service where he served under President George W. Bush with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) as a tactical K9 handler in the Special Operations Division – President Protection Detail (PPD).
In 2007, Tony was recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency to conduct High Threat collection operations against high valued targets under the prestigious National Clandestine Service, Counter-Terrorism Center (CTC). Later in his Agency career, Tony was selected as a Counter-Intelligence Officer and served under the Counter-Intelligence Center (CIC). As a CI Officer, Tony was assigned as Deputy Chief CI Gulf Group in charge of overseeing and developing offensive and defensive operations that provided vital intelligence for our policy makers. During his distinguished career with the Agency, he deployed well over 1500 days to numerous countries across the world as a Site Team Leader, Country Team Lead, and regional Counter-Intelligence Officer.
After his federal service, Tony successfully transitioned into the private sector. He is the CEO of RockFinn Group, an acclaimed writer for Law Enforcement Today, and recently conducted a single operator extraction of a US National out of Ukraine during the height of the invasion as featured in People.com, Law Enforcement Today, and upcoming documentary set to release in late 2024 about the operation. Tony's passion to serve and protect the safety of others has him speaking openly on the current issues facing our communities.
His priority is strengthening ties within the community by promoting conservative values centered within our Constitution and love for our country.

Nhan is a first-generation immigrant born in Vietnam several years after the Vietnam War ended. At that time, his mother, as an educator and trailblazing woman of her time for the Republic of Vietnam (U.S ally), was forced into a new economic zone by the Vietnamese Communist government. The new economic zone was a type of forced labor concentration camp for civilians. His father, a military man for the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN), was sent to a re-education camp, another type of forced labor concentration camp but for military personnel. Nhan grew up sickly and malnourished. Luckily, his parents’ tenure at the camps were short compared to others.
As a young boy, he witnessed first hand the terrible economic policies, dictatorship, use-of-force and censorship enacted by the Vietnamese Communist government that caused terrible famine, supply shortages, discrimination, poverty, and many deaths even after the Vietnam War already ended. Seeing that their children cannot have a future under communist rule, his parents escaped the clutches and evils of communism by seeking refuge in America.
Nhan firmly believe in public service, common sense legislation regardless of political ideologies, and empathy. He understand the struggles of being poor and alone, needing help, both as a young child under communist rule and as a single parent unable to work during the COVID era. He know what it means to need help and to feel powerless. He want his voice, other parents’ voices, and other Northern Virginians to be heard in Richmond.
Most of all, Nhan want to restore America’s freedoms, opportunities, and the American dream that I knew existed.
